What counts as a trusted source

• Vatican documents, the Catechism, and canon law for doctrine.
• Official bishops’ conferences for local Catholic guidance.
• The responsible religious order for its own spirituality, such as Jesuit sources for the Ignatian Examen.
• Government and recognized clinical authorities for mental-health or crisis information.
• Primary product documentation for factual claims about Soulv or another app.

Review before indexing

Every article begins as a draft. Drafts are excluded from Soulv’s sitemap and marked so search engines should not index them. An article can become reviewed only after it has a named author, a named reviewer, a review date, and at least two distinct sources, including a primary authority appropriate to the topic.

The website validates those requirements during development and production builds. If a reviewed article is missing required evidence, the build fails instead of publishing it as search-ready.

Sensitive pastoral topics

Content about anxiety, grief, loneliness, self-harm, or mental health must distinguish spiritual reflection from professional care. It requires an appropriate government or clinical source and must include crisis guidance. Soulv is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, or emergency support.

How AI may be used

AI may assist with outlines, editing, or research discovery. AI output is never treated as a source. A person must open the cited material, check the claim in context, and take responsibility for the final article before it can be marked reviewed.

Corrections

When a material error is found, we correct the article, update its modification and review dates, and re-check its sources. To report a possible error, email support@soulvapp.com.
